The Cuyabeno Wildlife Reserve belongs to the Tropical Rainforest category, the most complicated ecosystem in the world; it contains land and flooded forest. This type of land is conducive to beautiful flora with diverse vegetable species that are very sensitive to climate change. Each hectare in the Reserve contains more types of species of plants than any other sector.

Cuyabeno Wildlife Reserve is a wildlife watcher's paradise. The bird family is the largest group, with more than 500 registered species with 53 species of ant-eating birds and insectivores have been identified. In addition, there are various classes of reptiles, amphibians, and mammals including 10 species of monkey. Don’t forget to bring your camera and binoculars!
